Therapeutic approach
As a psychotherapist, I offer a supportive and trusting framework based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. My focus is on promoting self-awareness, addressing current challenges, and developing healthier and more effective coping strategies.
I believe that therapy should be scientifically sound and goal-oriented – always taking your individual situation and well-being into account. I focus on your personal strengths and follow the principle of helping you help yourself – with the goal of empowering you to bring about lasting and positive changes in your life.
Cognitive behavioral therapy – well-founded, mindful, individual
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a scientifically recognized and effective method for treating psychological problems such as anxiety, depression, stress, or self-esteem issues. It assumes that thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected—and that through conscious reflection and action, we can develop new, more helpful patterns.
In my work, I combine classical methods of behavioural therapy with so-called "third-wave" approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or mindfulness-based approaches like MBCT. This extension of CBT promotes mindful handling of thoughts and feelings, strengthens psychological flexibility, and supports the development of greater self-compassion and inner stability in everyday life.
Together we develop everyday, individually tailored strategies – with the goal of not only alleviating symptoms, but also enabling long-term change and personal development.
